If you would like to visit prior to booking or if you would like friends and family to visit while you are staying, we would be grateful if you would let us know in advance – see below.
Visit before you book
If you would like to see Rustington Convalescent Home before you book, we have put together a tour video so you can see the premises from the comfort of your own home.
If you prefer to visit in person, please call us in advance to make an appointment so a member of staff can be available to welcome you. Obviously, the care and privacy of our guests is paramount so the first and second floors are accessible to resident guests only.
Family and friends visiting you during your stay
We warmly welcome family and friends visiting you when you are staying with us. However, we would be grateful if your visitors would telephone us beforehand so we can book them into one of the visiting slots that are available each day.
We make this request because we need to prioritise the health and welfare of all our guests and find it works best when visitors arrive throughout the day rather than all at once.
If your friends and family would like to take you out to lunch or tea, then they are welcome at any time. The bookable slots are for meeting indoors, usually in our comfortable conservatory so you and your guests have plenty of space and privacy.
Thank you.
Sometimes the best way to get to know a place is to have a look around. If you would like to come and visit RCH, we would love to see you. Click on on the Book a tour button on the right of this page or call or email us to arrange a time to suit you.
Your family and friends are welcome to visit you
You are more than welcome to invite friends and family to visit you when you are staying at RCH. We love meeting them all! Just let us know when you would like them to come over and whether they would like to join you for an afternoon tea or a meal. There is usually a small charge for visitors’ meals but, like you, they will get excellent quality and value.
Visitors’ accommodation is available
If your visitors have travelled a long way to see you and would like to stay overnight, they are welcome to use the visitors’ accommodation. Twin rooms are also available for couples who wish to share. The accommodation is subject to a small charge but, in keeping with all our fees, the rate is most reasonable. Let us know your plans and we will sort out the detail for you.
There is plenty of room for everyone
You are welcome to invite visitors as often as you want and you can also invite as many as you want! The only requests we make are that we are informed beforehand and that visitors stay in the public rooms unless arranged otherwise. This is to ensure we know where everyone is in case of an emergency.
